How do I get my prescription lenses into the inner frame?

The inner RX frame is a standard-format insert that your local optician can fit with your prescription lenses. You bring the inner frame to your optician — the same way you would any frame — and have the lenses cut and fitted. Most opticians complete this in one appointment. The inner frame then clips into the Ignis and stays there. The outer shield snaps on and off independently.

Does the inner RX frame cause distortion or glare at the edges?

No — and this is the critical difference between a true RX integration and a floating insert. The Ignis inner frame positions your prescription lenses in direct optical alignment with the outer shield, with no gap between inner and outer that could cause reflections. The result is the same clean optics you'd expect from a dedicated prescription frame, with the full-coverage protection of a sports shield over it.

Can I use the Ignis without prescription lenses — just as a standard sports frame?
